Foodie Friday Hamburger Stroganoff
Hamburger Stroganoff
Ingredients:
1 box/bag wide egg noodles
1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
1 medium to large onion, diced
Garlic powder/fresh garlic, to taste
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 pint sour cream
Directions:
Salt water and cook egg noodles according to package directions in a large pot. Drain and set aside. Brown hamburger in large frying pan. Add onion and garlic. When hamburger is completely cooked, add cream of mushroom soup and simmer for 15 minutes. Add sour cream to stroganoff. Mix all ingredients together and serve.
My Notes: I like to add curry in mine just to add some spice and sometimes I add some sliced sautéed mushrooms or some diced celery to the mix.

This recipe brings back memories. John and I used to make something very similar with egg noodles but that was about 27 years ago. lol
We will have to try your recipe. Thanks for sharing.
I ran to get a blank recipe card to write it all down. Do you add water to the mushroom soup cans?
Nope, no water added...just what you see there on the recipe :)
Making it tonight. :) I am adding red onion and mushrooms too. Thanks.
