Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash Review and Giveaway

As part of the Purex® Insiders community, I was given a complimentary bottle of Dial® Vitamin Boost Body Wash to facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% my own.

New Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash is a moisturizing skin rinse infused with a Vitamin Complex. This has an advanced moisture and vitamin attracting formula to help your skin keep hydrated and nourished. Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash comes in two different types: Vitamin B which is lotion infused and Vitamin C which is oil infused.

I received a 16 fl oz bottle of the Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash with Vitamin B in it to try out for myself for free for this review. It has a flip top lid and a bottle that you can easily hold. The bottle easily dispenses when squeezed. This body wash comes out as a clear gel that when rubbed onto a wet body sponge, poof, or loofah becomes a nice rich lather. It rinses off easily with water and leaves the skin smooth and soft. It has a very pleasant fruity scent of kiwis and mangoes that I like a lot. This product does contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS) and artificial dyes of which I am not happy about.

For me this detergent has an overpowering smell that wasn't my favorite. I usually buy detergents free from fragrance and dyes because my son is usually allergic and has very sensitive skin. I wish that they had the fabric softener one in the Tropical Splash instead because I prefer that fragrance to this one myself. If you love strong scent this detergent would be perfect for you.

Purex Plus Oxi Review and Giveaway

I'm reporting to you as your friendly Purex Insider. Purex Plus Oxi is a new stain-fighting liquid detergent from Purex. It has Oxi AND Zout stain removers. This is the most powerful Purex detergent available with 3 stain-fighting enzymes that work against 101 different stains! It, like all Purex liquid detergents, works in both high efficiency washers and traditional washing machines.

I received a 43.5 fl oz bottle of the Purex Plus Oxi in Fresh Morning Burst Scent to try out for free. I found it to be an excellent stain pretreatment. Just pour a little of it onto the stain, rub stained fabric together and let sit for about 5 minutes before putting into the wash load. Then you can also add the same laundry detergent to the washer too. It also gets clothes super bright, white and clean! I tried it and I don't usually like detergents with a scent, but this one is mild and nice and is still hypoallergenic. My son got his pants all dirty with dirt and grass stains (boys will be boys). This got the stains and dirt out and left the clothes fresh smelling and clean.

My Birthday and Teela's Visit at her Babu's

My birthday was May 10th. I didn't get to do a lot because my husband was working, but here is a recap of my day.

Here is what my kids did: Jaedan made me breakfast in the morning. He made me a breakfast burrito with sauteed green peppers, potatoes, and cheese. It was very yummy! Delbin gave me a necklace he made and some pieces of really neat pottery he found to make a mosaic with. Teela came home from visiting her grandparents, Babu and Papa, and she got me a small pretty fabric gift bag and made me a card that she put in it. She also colored a picture of Pinky Pie (a My Little Pony) and while she was away made me the following special program called Teela's Visit to Babu's 2012...



My parents (aka Babu and Papa to my kids) took me shopping at Ross Dress For Less and I purchased 3 awesome shirts, a beautiful long missoni skirt and a Wilton Mini Rectangle Pie Press with money allotted for me from my husband for my birthday. I also received a very nice dress also from Ross Dress for Less from my parents.

After shopping for my birthday we then had a late picnic dinner with BBQ chicken and potato salad. My mom brought her yummy homemade cinnamon rolls that I ate this morning for breakfast :) I also received a $10 Amazon GC (just another great perk for being a Purex Insider) that came on my birthday from Purex in the mail (actually for Mother's Day, but a very nice treat anyway). My other gifts were a pretty Shamballa bracelet and a bronze floral deer necklace.
