BOBS is a charitable footwear collection from Skechers that gives a new pair of shoes to a child in need with every BOBS purchase. To date, Skechers has donated 3 million pairs of shoes and counting to children in the U.S. and more than 25 countries around the world! 300 million children around the world go without shoes every day and Skechers wants to lower that number.

BOBS collection comes in a variety of different designs that cater to your individual style - from preppy to bohemian chic, glamorous to vibrant hues.

The selection of adorable BOBS shoes in girls sizes is great! I had a hard time picking for my daughter Teela. I picked out some for my daughter Teela and I was unsure what size she would be in these shoes since she had never tried them on in person before so I chose the Bobs World Pink/Pink Skechers in toddler size 8 because I was told they ran a bit big. She wears a size 9 now. When they arrived I had her try them on and they were tight on her feet.

I contacted Skechers and they sent me out a pair of toddler size 10 in Bobs World Sassy Sparklez Pink Skechers. These fit a whole lot better on her and she a has a bit of growing room too which is good! She loves her new shoes! Teela loves sparkly things and her two favorite colors are pink and purple.

The first pair I still got to keep even though Teela won't be wearing them much. Zari my youngest daughter will eventually grow into them and she will be able to wear them. They are sparkly and light pink in color. They are a slip on alpargata style casual flat that have a tucked toe pleat in the front. The second pair we received are more of a hot pink and purple sparkle. These shoes are a mary jane alpargata style casual flat that also have the tucked toe pleat in front. It has a Velcro closure on the side and strap. 

I also received some shoes for myself. They sent me two sizes (5 and 5.5) of the same shoe to try out because it is difficult to know for sure size for me without trying it on first. These turned out very true to size so I fit the fives better. I picked the Women's Bobs - Ballyhoo in Olive. They are a slip on alpargata style casual flat that have a tucked toe pleat in the front. I liked them because they were comfortable and practical. I like that they are a green outdoorsy color. I think they will be great to wear on hikes when I am foraging and they will be great to wear in my garden.

Snuggly Toes Review

Snuggly Toes are feet warmers made from all natural alpaca fibers that are first spun into yarn, knit into a "blanket," then felted into fabric. Each "blanket" is felted 3 times to make Snuggly Toes very durable. Just slide them into a boot, shoe or slipper and the alpaca fibers make a soft cushion under your feet, wick away moisture and keep the bottom of your feet nice and toasty warm. Alpaca fibers are naturally warmer than wool. Snuggly Toes are made in the USA at Springtime Farms right here in Oregon. They are also machine washable on cold and should be air dried. They are also free of dyes, pesticides and bleach.

My husband was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) last year. What that basically means is that his autonomic nervous system doesn't function properly and because of this he has problems standing for long periods of time and has to sit/lay down or he: has an abnormally large increase in heart rate (called tachycardia) and a decrease in cerebral blood flow which causes dizziness and trouble thinking. It is very hard for him to maintain homeostasis when changing position. He also gets extremely cold extremities because of the POTS so I decided my husband could benefit more from these than I, so I got a pair of size men's 12 for him to try out. His boots that he inserted them into are a size 13 wide and they fit wonderfully.

He told me that the Snuggly Toes kept the bottoms of his feet snug and toasty warm. He loved how perfect they fit in his boots and that they were comfortable to walk on. He said it was like walking on a thermal cloud. We did notice that some of the alpaca fiber got stuck to the bottom of his socks when ever he pulled his feet out of his boots but that was to be expected. We are very happy with Snuggly Toes and how well they worked.

Snuggly Toes are wonderful for people that generally have cold feet or need some extra thermal protection from brisk autumn air to cold winters. They are perfect to use in your boots or shoes out in the freezing snow or rain. They are also fabulous for use with a pair of slippers inside the home. Great for snow boots, hiking boots, wellies, tennis shoes, slippers, Crocs, etc. No more Jack Frost nipping at your toes :)

Soft Star is a company that makes high quality leather and vegan shoes, sandals, slippers, boots, and soft soled moccasins for children and adults. They are a family oriented company that loves children and even has a playroom for the children of the workers and customers who visit the workshop can play. They use only leathers which are processed formaldehyde free and meet the highest safety standards both for their customers, and for the environment. As little ones like to occasionally chew on the shoes, it is important to Soft Star that they are as chemical-free as possible. Soft Star shoes are handcrafted in Oregon, USA using local materials. They reuse, recycle and reduce whenever possible. Production scraps are sorted and reused or recycled into craft projects. Also 100% of their power usage comes from solar or wind energy. Seconds or gently worn shoes are donated to children in need. Soft Star also gives to Waldorf and Montessori schools through their back-to-school discounts and promotions. They also donate thousands of dollars worth of Soft Star products to Le Leche League chapters around the country every year.

This company is awesome! Their eco-friendly and family friendly atmosphere and practices gets a huge A+ from me! You can also design your own shoes if you really don't see any that you like in their online store. You can choose your own: color of the leather, style of shoe, motif, type of closure, width and size of footwear of your very own.

I found something I really liked though for my daughter, Teela, so designing a pair of her own shoes might be something I do later. I picked out some Laguna Sandals Playa in Pink in size 7 toddler for her and they are so adorable! The Soft Star company sent them to me for free to test and review. The sandals have soft rubber soles that will flex with her feet and are sturdy and slip resistant too. They have a color guide that matches their colors with crayon color names and this soft pink leather is the same color as the Mauvelous color crayon. I love the flower cutout and hot pink elastic closer on this sandal. The elastic ankle helps Teela be able to put the sandal on herself and pull them off as well. For safety the toe openings are smaller so that feet won't slip through the front of the shoe. My Teela loves them too! She wanted to wear them all day long and since all Soft Star shoes breathe well and are similar to just going barefoot, I let her :)

When she asks to wear them she calls them her "bunny shoes" and can now put them on herself. They remind me of moccasins because of the soft suede bottoms. I love the bright colors these shoes come in and how they have so many cute designs to choose from.

I received their Ballerina Leather shoes in Plum for free to test and review for my daughter, Teela. It just so happened that I had a perfect little dress to go with them for her to also model...one that my daughter, Tatiana, had worn to my sisters wedding when she was younger. I love these little shoes! They are darling and the craftsmanship is excellent! As you can see Teela loves them as well. When she was standing she was trying out her curtsy and when she was sitting she was playing peek-a-boo shoes under her dress :) She also likes how shiny they are.

They have a number of other designs of shoes to choose from...from Mary Janes to Moccasins. They also carry clothing that is adorable and modest as well. I really love their line.
