Soft Scrub Advanced Surface Cleaner & Polish Review and Giveaway

I received some Soft Scrub® Advanced Surface Cleaner & Polish to try out and review for free to facilitate this review. My husband grew up using Soft Scrub® products for cleaning with and we both love the brand. This new all purpose cleaner is a rinse-free clear gel that cleans and polishes granite and marble countertops (removing grease, grime and surface stains), glass cooktops (removing food and spills from a cool or cold surface), and stainless steel sinks and appliances (removing water spots, soap scum and fingerprints). It is tough on stains and gentle on your most delicate surfaces. Just apply with to the surface, rub and wipe away with a damp sponge, cloth or paper towel.

The bottle design is new also and is easier to handle and hold making dispensing improved. I love the ergonomic shape, thumb slot, and bumps on the side for better grip. It makes it easier to pour and prevents spillage. Just rotate the cap counter clockwise to open and clockwise to close. The product does come out fairly fast and just a little bit goes a long way. It is great for both a bathroom cleaner and kitchen cleaner.

My kitchen sink is the largest stainless steel surface in my home so I tried this product on it. We currently do not have granite or marble countertops or glass cooktops...a girl can dream though...maybe someday. My stainless steel deep double sink needed my attention. It was getting pretty icky looking because of food in the crevasses, soap scum, fingerprints and water spots. This was the perfect stainless steel cleaner to try out to give it a good rub and polish. I used it as recommended on the back and even took it a step further in the directions with the buff with a lint free cloth for added shine instruction. It shined up really nicely. The FlyLady would be proud of me!

Purex plus Fabric Softener with Crystals Fragrance and Dirt Lift Action Review and Giveaway

I'm reporting to you as your friendly Purex® Insider. Purex® plus Fabric Softener with Crystals Fragrance and Dirt Lift Action™ combines the Purex® plus Fabric Softener laundry detergent with the "Fresh Spring Waters™" scent of Crystals. This fragrance combines clean blue skies and spring breezes with line-dried fresh notes and flowery scents. New to 2013 and now enhancing all the Purex® detergent line is their Dirt Lift Action™. This new special formula works deep into the fibers of your clothes to get them so bright, white, and clean for an average of half the price of the leading brand. The Dirt Lift Action™. helps to remove stains with its superior cleaning. All detergents from Purex® work in both traditional and High Efficiency (HE) washers.

I received a 50 fl oz bottle of the Purex® plus Fabric Softener with Crystals Fragrance and Dirt Lift Action™ in Fresh Spring Waters scent. For me this detergent has an overpowering smell that wasn't my favorite. I usually buy detergents free from fragrance and dyes because my son is usually allergic and has very sensitive skin. I wish that they had the fabric softener one in the Tropical Splash instead because I prefer that fragrance to this one myself. If you love strong scent this detergent would be perfect for you.

You can purchase this detergent in the liquid detergent aisle at your local Walmart, Target, Kroger, and other Purex® retailers. Purex® detergent is an average of half the price of the leading brand which makes it a great value and very affordable.

OraMD - Liquid 3-in-1 Toothpaste, Mouthwash, and Breath Freshener Review and Giveaway

OraMD is a 3-in-1 liquid toothpaste, mouthwash, and breath freshener from Trusted Health Products. OraMD naturally fights: plaque, tarter and gum problem-causing bacteria & fungi with its strong antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. It also eliminates bad breath and reinforces healthy gums and teeth. All this happens without harmful chemicals! It is does NOT contain: fluoride, Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS), Triclosan, alcohol (causes dry mouth), artificial dyes/colorings or GMOs! There are also no abrasives like silica that can harm enamel. The only ingredients are 100% pure botanical oils of almond, spearmint and peppermint. Just place 2-5 drops on your toothbrush and brush with it as usual. There is approximately 400 drops per bottle and you save up to 39% right away when you don't have to buy multiple products to do what OraMD does. One bottle lasts approximately 4 weeks, when following the 4 Step Oral Hygiene Program (at 2 drops per use). Safe and effective for everyone ages 3 and up. It is also recommended by dentists worldwide.

Directions – 4 Step Oral Hygiene Program
  1. Brush twice a day in the morning and evening using 2-5 drops of OraMD on a toothbrush and brush normally.
  2. Floss every evening before brushing - more frequently as needed. Get any food particles out from between teeth.
  3. Rinse with OraMD like a mouthwash twice a day: morning and evening. Just put 2-5 drops into an ounce of water, swish and gargle.
  4. Refresh your mouth. Mid-morning, mid-afternoon and as needed: put 2-5 drops of OraMD on the tip of the tongue to coat the gum line and teeth to kill bacteria and keep breath fresh.
My Thoughts:
At first use I didn't like the taste this product left in my mouth. It is fairly potent and has a intense, strong flavor. After using it for a while I got used to the flavor. OraMD cleaned my teeth well and left them shiny and polished looking. Personally, I liked using it after I brushed with baking soda or hydrogen peroxide as instructed for getting my teeth whiter. After a few weeks using the product as instructed I noticed my gums started looking healthier and I had fresher breath. I was very happy with the results. I love that it is a safer more natural alternative than the conventional methods out there. It can also conveniently be carried anywhere with you so you can use it anytime. I love that it will end up saving me money on oral care and dental bills in the future because of its preventative nature.
BUY IT
You can purchase one bottle of OraMD from Trusted Health Products for $22.97 or you can buy two and get the 3rd free for $45.94. Buy 7 for $99 and 24 for $286.80. One Full Year, 100% Money Back Guarantee – No Questions Asked.

They also agreed to include 2 eye-opening reports called 1) “The 6 Hidden Dangers In Toothpaste” and 2) “Why The FDA Requires A Warning Label On Your Toothpaste.” That’s a total value of over $40.00. Oransi Ionic Fridge Air Purifier Review and Giveaway

My refrigerator gets a lot of use and abuse. It is an older model that we got second hand when we moved here over 6 years ago. The handle of the door has completely fallen off and the bottom shelf has broken. My husband tried to fashion a front piece for it out of wood so that things wouldn't slide off the shelf because the lip of the original was splitting and breaking off, but now the tabs at the sides that hold the shelf into position have broken and so now my fridge drawers are the only thing holding the shelf up. So getting into my fridge drawers is difficult at best. The temperature inside isn't evenly distributed either as the top of the fridge is colder because it is closer to the small freezer above. This wear and tear is also from it being used by 6 people, not just its age. My fridge gets things spilled on it constantly from little hands not properly closing containers of things to things being dropped there. I clean it when I can, but frankly it probably isn't often enough. Even when I do it still seems to have lingering smells.

Oransi Ionic Air Purifier for Refrigerator is a little device that creates a odor free environment in your fridge or other small enclosed space. It is great for Refrigerators, Cloakroom/Coat Closet, and Shoe Cabinet. It is silent with no fan and does not require a filter to replace or clean. It also kills bacteria, prevents mildew and mold and reduces food from spoiling. The air purifier uses 2 AA batteries that require replacement approximately every 45-90 days. Built-in intuitive micro processor operates the air purifier so it will cycle on and off to save battery life. It sterilizes the fridge or other small enclosed area every 2 hours. The patented Piezo-electric technology allows for a high negative ion output to freshen your refrigerator without the harmful side effects of ozone that is found in standard ionizers.

My thoughts: When I received this I was surprised at how small this air purifier actually was. I took it out of the box and literally could hold it in the palm of my hand. I read the instructions and placed 2 AA batteries in it and pushed the on button. It immediately made a very soft whirring sound...if you don't listen for it you won't really be able to hear it. It has a nice LED indicator light that shows you the product is working. It lights up when initially turned on for the first 30 minutes continuously and then for 5 minutes every 2 hours. For when ever the air purifier cycles on again in those 5 minute intervals after being dormant, it lights up blinking briefly every 2-3 seconds. When indicating low voltage the light will blink constantly and tell you to replace the batteries soon. I liked how easy it was to install the batteries and turn it on.

It was not too hard to find a nice spot to place the air purifier in my fridge as it is very small and can fit a bunch of different places. I did find that I liked to have it up front on the shelf or in the door. Since it is so small I could see it getting lost in the back of my fridge somewhere so I try not to have anything in front of it. Also, I found that if I had something in front that the button on the front of the air purifier could be easily bumped, turning the whole unit off.

My fridge initially smelled of onions and roasted garlic from the leftovers we also had in containers overnight in the refrigerator. After a couple of hours with the Oransi Fridge Air Purifier inside my fridge with the door shut I opened it to check the status. All I could smell was very pleasant fresh air. I was thoroughly impressed that this tiny air purifier could work so well.

Not only does it get rid of the odor, but it also is supposed to keep your produce fresher longer. I am going to love saving money on my grocery bill by not having to throw away food that would have spoiled without this awesome little device. I am so very glad I have it and overall it is very cost effective. The unit is initially $39 (on sale right now for $29!!), the batteries for this only costs an average of $1 a month and it comes with a year warranty.

20 Mule Team Borax Review and Giveaway

Borax is the common name for sodium tetraborate: a naturally occurring substance produced by the repeated evaporation of seasonal lakes. 20 Mule Team Borax comes from California where one of the world’s largest deposits was discovered in 1913. Absolutely nothing is added. No phosphates, per-oxside, chlorine, or other additive chemicals.

20 Mule Team Borax is a laundry booster and multi-purpose household cleaner. It removes stains and neutralizes odors. Borax naturally softens hard water and improves your detergent’s cleaning power. It also helps keep stains from being re-deposited back onto clothes. It is also a wonderful all natural alternative to color safe bleach. To boost your detergent, simply add 1/2 cup of 20 Mule Team Borax to every load, along with your regular detergent. You can also use 20 Mule Team Borax to pre-soak tough stains.

Over 85% of homes have what most people call “hard water.” Hard water is defined as water that contains calcium and magnesium (ions). Since I live in Oregon I am one of the lucky ones that has soft to only slightly hard water. Even though I do not have that hard of water here, I have found many other ways of using Borax besides keeping my laundry smelling fresh and looking clean too.

Handy Uses for 20 Mule Team Borax:

Cleaning
  • Laundry: Add 1/2 cup of 20 Mule Team Borax to every full load, along with your regular detergent.
  • Dishes: Dishwasher detergent - put 1 cup washing soda or 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup 20 Mule Team Borax (additionally you could add these optional ingredients: 1/2 cup of table salt and 1/2 cup of citric acid) in a glass jar. Secure tightly with lid. Shake to combine. Add 1 tbsp. of dishwasher detergent to each load. Add distilled white vinegar to the rinsing compartment to give the dishes a sparkling shine (plastic dishes will need sprayed with additional vinegar and rinsed by hand to get the sediment off). Handwashing Dish detergent - fill kitchen sink halfway with hot water and add a quarter of a cup of Borax, and a quarter of a cup of washing soda or baking soda. Mix well until dissolved, then add dishes. Clean dishes normally and rinse thoroughly. You can also use a little Borax on a dish cloth or scouring pad on dishes, pots, and pans that need extra scrubbing power.
  • Deodorizer: Add 1/2 cup of Borax to a 12 ounce spray bottle of water and shake until dissolved. Spray on area needing deodorized. Example: Mattresses, Upholstery, clothing.
  • Carpet and Upholstery Stains and Deodorizer: Stains - Pre-treat tough stains in carpet and upholstery. Make a paste of Borax and water and rub into stain. Let dry and vacuum. You can also place 1/2 cup of Borax per gallon of water in carpet steam cleaning machines (Warning: You are doing this at your own risk...the risk of possibly breaking your cleaner. The manufacture guidelines and specifics in the manual are usually put there for good reason.). Deodorizer - Sprinkle Borax on carpet, let stand overnight and vacuum.
  • Tile and Grout Cleaner: make a paste and use a toothbrush for cleaning.
  • Garbage Disposal and Unclog a Drain: Disposal - dump 1/4 cup into disposal and splash in a bit of water. Wait an hour and rinse with hot water. Clogged Drain - dump 1/2 cup into clogged drain and wait 15 minutes. Rinse with hot water.
  • Surface Cleaner: Borax is safe to use on most surfaces including tile, ceramic, porcelain, slate, marble, granite and stainless steel. Great for toilets: put 1/4th cup into bowl, wait a bit then swish with toilet brush. It is great for removing soap scum, hard water deposits, and dirt!
Insecticide
  • Ants: Mix equal amounts of Borax and powdered sugar, place near ant problem area (especially around anthills) - keep away from pets and small children. Others have said this also works for other bugs too including: silverfish, bedbugs, water bugs and roaches.
  • Fleas: Sprinkle Borax on carpet and upholstery, let stand overnight and vacuum.
Gardening
  • Weed Control: Dissolve 10 ounces of Borax in 1/2 cup warm water and place it in a 5 gallon bucket. Dilute with 2 1/2 gallons of water. Fill empty spray bottles or a garden sprayer with solution and spray over problem area evenly and quickly. The borax solution will treat 1,000 square feet. You can cut the recipe in half if you need to cover as smaller area. Don't spray it on other plants you do not wish to kill. Remove weeds by hand around plants that you are planning on eating.
  • Boron Supplement/Soil Fertilizer: Depending upon the amount of boron in your soil your garden crops and flowers might be suffering from boron deficiency. Hollow stalks in broccoli or celery, black spots on leaves, rot and fruit-pitting might be indicators of this. Test your soil to make sure and if it is lacking, make a borax solution. Add 2.5 oz. of borax into 5 gallons of water. Spray the solution evenly on plant foliage. Do not concentrate the solution in one area.
Crafts
  • Crystal Snowflakes: Twist three 5-inch pieces (one pipe cleaner cut into 3 equal sections will do nicely) of white pipe cleaner together in the middle to form a 6 sided snowflake, then add a 1 1/2-inch piece to each point. Tie the flake with 4" string to a pencil on the opposite side. Find a big enough jar so the suspended flake won't touch the sides or bottom. Fill with 3 tablespoons borax and 1 drop food coloring of choice per 1 cup of boiling water. Hang the snowflake in the jar and make sure snowflake is completely submerged in the solution. Let sit overnight without interruption; remove and hang where you want to display. Science behind it: as the water cools, borax forms crystals that cling to the pipe cleaners.
  • Goop: Goop has many names including: flubber, glurch, glorax and GAK. Pour 1 1/2 cups of warm water into a container and then add in 2 cups of white glue. In another container, mix 1 1/3 cups warm water and 3 tsp. of borax. Mix both containers well. Then empty the second container into the first and mix again. You can put in a few drops of food coloring at this point if you like. Stir or knead the mixture by hand until all the liquid has been soaked up and the material looks thick. Some people find that borax irritates their skin, so you should wash your hands after working with it and, of course, never eat it. Be careful as it might stain if you put in the food coloring.
  • Dried Flowers: Mix 1 part borax and 2 parts of cornmeal with one tablespoon of uniodized salt. The Uniodized salt helps retain the color of the flower while drying. Spread half of the dry mix across the bottom of an airtight container. Prune back stems and leaves of picked flowers and place the blooms into the container. Carefully sprinkle the rest of the borax mix over the flowers (avoid crushing them). Cover and dry for a week to 10 days.

Scotch Brite Botanical Disinfecting Wipes Review

I love the quote from William Arthur Ward that reads, “A house is made of walls and beams; a home is built with love and dreams.” This is so true. I am trying to prepare my new to me house to become a home so that we might be able to share our love and dreams there as a family. I also love the LDS scripture in D&C 109:8 that says, “Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing, and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God;...”. These things are very important to me in organizing my home. Right now I am working on the learning and the order in abundance. The rest I need to work on more steadfastly.

I homeschool so learning in my home is happening round the clock. However when people are sick the learning and everything else seems to come to a sudden halt. Being sick or having a sick child can disrupt everything because of the care involved. This is why keeping a clean orderly house is so important to me. Even though my home isn't as spotless as I would like it to be because of busy schedules and messy children I still try my best to make it that way.

I love the New Scotch Brite Botanical Disinfecting Wipes because they have a botanical active ingredient called thymol, a component of thyme oil. Thymol is an antiseptic and is antibacterial. These wipes kill and sanitize over 99.9%* of household, classroom, or workplace germs and cold & flu viruses. They are also easy and convenient to use.  I received free for this review one container of  Scotch Brite Botanical Disinfecting Wipes in Breeze scent and one container of Scotch Brite Botanical Disinfecting Wipes in Lemongrass scent. The Breeze scented one was a bit overpowering for me and made me want to sneeze, but I really liked the Lemongrass scented one a lot. They both have easy to open flip top lids that make it simple to get the wipes out and they are rolled up inside so another pops up when one is pulled out. Holiday Gift Guide 2011 SKOY Cloth Review and Giveaway

SKOY are handy squares of reusable biodegradable absorbent cleaning cloths. They are so much better than a paper towel or napkin because of their reusability. They are such an earth friendly product. I love using SKOY with eco-friendly, family friendly antibacterial cleaning sprays like Method or Seventh Generation for surface cleaning. SKOY are also great for scrubbing with and hold up very well use after use. My littlest actually knocked over a glass of juice on the kid's little table and SKOY just sucked that spill up like a sponge, but without leaving behind a trail of nasty growies or liquid!

I have washed them in the washing machine and dried them many times now and they come out looking good as new. I have found that drying them in the dryer shrinks them a little, so either air drying or drying them on the lowest setting on your dryer is recommended.

My kids were thrilled with this product as well. They used one to clean the bathroom and when they cleaned the faucet and the mirror with it they both shined...no streaks and no residue like what paper towels or napkins leave behind. They made them gleam even better than using newspaper.

SKOY also has a great new school fundraising program. The kids will sell each pack for $10, of which $4 will go to the fundraising. Consequently, the school will purchase each pack for $6. That is a 40% gross profit for your school and it is raising awareness for an environmentally friendly product :)

Method Antibac Cleaner Review and Giveaway

Method's new Antibac cleaners are powered by CleanWell's core technology which uses thymol (thyme extract) for their disinfectants. This powerful ingredient helps to eradicate germs without using bleach and triclosan! I reviewed Seventh Generation cleaning products a while back and was wondering what the difference between Method's Antibac products and Seventh Generation's disinfectant cleaners and wipes. Both, you see, are powered by CleanWell's core technology...both use thymol as the active botanical ingredient to disinfect. CleanWell's core technology kills 99.99% of germs* botanically (specifically: influenza A, H1N1, rhinovirus, staphylococcus aureus, salmonella enterica, pseudomonas aeruginosa, E. coli) using the active ingredient thymol, a component of thyme oil which is derived from the common herb thyme. *Refer to disinfecting product labels for full details.

I got the answers I wanted from Methods product formulators (Green Chefs). They told me that the key differences between Method Antibac and Seventh Generation's antibacterial products are:

• Fragrance: Method Antibac offers bathroom spray in spearmint and kitchen spray and wipes in lemon verbena. Seventh Generation only has one fragrance for its items, which is lemongrass + thyme.

My thoughts on scent difference: Both Method and Seventh Generation products contain thymol and have the thyme sent. After smelling Seventh Generation's spray cleaners, Method's Antibac products seem to me far less overpowering with the thyme scent because of the lemon verbena and spearmint scents that are added. I can also smell the spearmint and lemon verbena in the Method products a lot more after smelling the Seventh Generation products. I love the spearmint scented one that Method makes for the bathroom because of its calming effect. Spearmint essential oil is known to have some antifungal activity, although less than oregano essential oil which is an ingredient in both cleaners. I also love the lemon verbena scented one for the kitchen that Method makes because lemon scented things are uplifting and one of my favorite scents to clean with.

• Product differentiation: Method's bathroom spray is specially formulated with more cleaning surfactant than the kitchen spray to attack tough bathroom jobs (e.g. soap scum and hard water stains)

My thoughts on how well the products work: I received the all purpose cleaning and disinfecting wipes in lemon verbena, antibacterial bathroom cleaner in spearmint and antibacterial kitchen cleaner in lemon verbena to try out for free from Green and Clean Mom and Method. I love how these products are safe for the environment and for my family. They wipe out unwanted dirt, grime, and germs! These products are great for eradicating flu and other germs without using bleach and triclosan!! I love how clean my kitchen, bathroom, and other surfaces get with these products and with the price so low I am going to definitely buy these again when the products I have run out.

• Sizing difference: Method spray bottles contain 28 oz. and are $3.99 while Seventh Generation spray bottles contain 26 oz. and cost anywhere from $3.74-$6.00. Methods wipes have 35 wet wipes per container and costs $3.99 while Seventh Generation wipes have 35 wet wipes per container and costs anywhere from $3.84-$5.49, although Seventh Generation wipes also have a container containing 70 wet wipes and depending upon where you get it costs anywhere from $5.09-$8.99. Method products are available at national retailers like Target, Lowe’s, Bed Bath & Beyond and Whole Foods as well as at many local grocery and drug stores.

Ecostore USA Review and Giveaway

I have been nesting and getting ready for the new baby's arrival and Teela, my 2 and a half year old daughter, has been helping me out. She is a great little helper and loves to help me clean around the house. I am also stocking stuff for the new baby and organizing everything too. I love environmentally and family friendly cleaning and personal care products because they are safer to use...especially since I am pregnant! Ecostore USA has some great products that are just that! They make plant and mineral based Household Cleaning, Baby, Pet and Personal Care products. Their slogan is No Nasty Chemicals! Better For your health, for your family and for the planet.

I have been given the chance to review a multitude of products from their store for free: Baby Body Wash, Baby Moisturizer, All Purpose Spray Cleaner and Lemon Cream Cleanser. I am very happy with all the products I was given to try out. These are all made in New Zealand. Oh how I wish to visit New Zealand someday because of its beauty and the ocean that surrounds it. These products also do not contain genetically engineered (GE) things and are not tested on animals.

I used the Baby Body Wash on Teela to try it out before baby comes because her toddler skin is sensitive to things. It is gentile on her skin, lathers up well, rinses clean and is very pleasant smelling. It has a combination of Lavender, Geranium and Eucalyptus oil among other plant based things that make it smell very good.

The Baby Moisturizer is a great after bath lotion for baby. Since it is safe for baby's skin it is safe for the whole family to use. I love this lotion because it keeps your skin "baby soft" and smells just as wonderful as the Baby Body Wash. It also has a combination of Lavender, Geranium and Eucalyptus oil among other plant based things plus it has Olive oil, Jojoba oil, Coconut oil, Shea butter and Cocoa butter to make it creamy and luxurious. These ingredients help nourish and condition the skin.

The All Purpose Spray Cleaner is an awesome citrus based cleaner that works on most household surface areas to get them sparkling clean. I loved how it cleaned my kitchen counters, sinks and bathroom shower. The citrus scent was also pleasant.

The Lemon Cream Cleanser is a wonderful cleaner that has a Lemon scent due to the Lemon Verbena oil that it has in it. It cleans vitreous enamel baths and basins, white surfaces, stainless steel, chrome, tile and laminate. I have found it great for getting crayon off of things and cleaning my stove top! A little sure does go a long way!

Rubbermaid Clean Little Secrets House Party and Reveal Spray Mop Review

I have tried a lot of different kinds of mops in my life and I have to say one of my absolute favorites is my new mop from Rubbermaid!

Mops I Dislike and Why
My mother used to have a sponge mop when I was growing up. Even though it had a mechanism that squeezed out the excess water that thing screamed "growies"! It was disgusting and smelled gross! I made a promise to myself that I was never going to buy that kind of mop for my home.

I used to have a Swiffer WetJet that I got with the Swiffer WetJet Starter Kit. I was very excited to get it, but thoroughly disappointed when I finally got to try it out. It consumed: pads that you couldn't re-use, bottles of pre-made cleaning solution that you also had to dispose of after the solution was gone and batteries to even get the spray to come out the front of it! It was certainly a big expense keeping it around and using it because of all the things that you had to repurchase for it and it made a ton of waste! I eventually just gave the thing to my local Goodwill because I didn't want to have to deal with it anymore.

My New Reveal Spray Mop From Rubbermaid
I recently received the new Reveal Spray Mop from Rubbermaid because I signed up and was accepted to host a "Rubbermaid Clean Little Secrets" House Party! Each microfiber pad is reusable and can be washed up to 100 times! I can fill the refillable bottles with my own recipe of cleaning solution and there are no batteries required because it works with gravity and a convenient hand operated spray trigger to get the cleaning solution to the spray nozzle on the front. This mop did an awesome job of cleaning my kitchen and bathroom floors! The spray nozzle is a bit high on it, so when I spray the solution out I tip the handle forward a bit and that seems to help. It can clean wood, laminate, tile and vinyl floors! I am glad it is so versatile because when we do our kitchen remodel the floor will be wood not vinyl and we have vinyl in one bathroom and tile in the other...so I am glad to not have to purchase multiple mops/cleaners to clean my floors. The microfiber pads are great too because they clean the floors so much better than paper ones! We had a great party and love our new mop! I think the guests were impressed too and now want one of their own.

Here is what I received in the FREE party pack:

For the host (that's me!):
• (1) Reveal™ Spray Mop (includes microfiber pad and refillable bottle)
• (2) Extra Reveal microfiber pads
• (1) Extra Reveal refillable bottle
• (2) Rubbermaid microfiber cleaning cloths
• (1) Pair of cleaning gloves
• (1) Demonstration DVD of Reveal cleaning secrets

For the party and guests:
• eMusic cards
• Goody® hair ties
• Recipe cards for solutions mixes
• Paper Mate® pens
• Coupons for $3 off any Reveal product (available at The Home Depot, Target, and select Walmart locations)

DISCLOSURE/DISCLAIMER: Thanks to House Party ™ for providing me with this opportunity to host a Rubbermaid Clean Little Secrets House Party™. I received the above samples and coupons free to hand out to hand out to guests and test and review myself. My thoughts are mine and my family's own opinion and have not been altered by anyone else. I did not receive any other compensation for doing this review. House Party connects people through parties. You too can use the helpful tools to plan your party, create invites, join sponsored events, share pictures and video, and explore thousands of parties being held in homes around the country.

SKOY Cloth Review and Giveaway

This is absolutely hands down my new favorite cleaning product! SKOY gave me 2 packs of SKOY cloths to test out. I have tested SKOY cloths with everything from scrubbing crusted on dishes to wiping up spills. You can use them over and over again. I have washed them in the washing machine and dried them many times now and they come out looking good as new. I have found that drying them in the dryer shrinks them until you put water on them again and then they go back to normal size. I recommend the lowest setting on your dryer or to air dry them. They are very heavy duty and last a long time. They soak up spills very well. Just the other day my littlest got a hold of a cup of milk on the kids' table and it went all over. SKOY came to my rescue and sopped up every last little drip. These things are fabulous! They are so much better than a paper towel or napkin!

My boys were thrilled with this product as well. They used one to clean the bathroom and when they cleaned the faucet and the mirror with it they both shined...no streaks and no residue like what paper towels or napkins leave behind. They made them gleam even better than using newspaper.

I have no qualms about this product. I am, however; disappointed that their website is not browser friendly. I primarily use Firefox at home and had to switch to Explorer to view the website as intended. Maybe they are not aware of this fact. I hope they take it into consideration to view it in different browsers so that they can make it viewable in all browsers. I can overlook this at the moment because of how fantastic this product is.

Win it! Michelle at SKOY cloth is generously giving one 4 pack away for two of my readers who enter my blog giveaway (colors may vary). That's two winners!!
