Dollar General Diapers Review

My littlest who just turned 2 is still in diapers. We have done cloth diapering before, but with the move to our farm house looming before us and everything kinda up in the air we have been using store bought ones to cut down on time until she is potty trained. We like to shop around and find the most affordable and yet still leak free option.

We usually get Cuddle Ups diapers because they are more affordable than name brand ones and do the job well, but you can only find them at WinCo Foods stores which are only in select areas of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California, Utah and Arizona. I live in Oregon, but I love to know about other places you can get affordable diapers that work too just in case I am not near a WinCo Foods. If I happen to be out of town with my child and have a Dollar General around instead of a WinCo I will definitely get Dollar General's new line of Premium Diapers!

Dollar General has a new line of Premium Diapers that have gone through a major transformation and are now better than ever. They are more affordable than name brand diapers and are just as efficient or better depending upon the brand. I received a convenience pack (24 diapers) of their size 3 diapers to review for free along with a coupon booklet. I don't have a Dollar General around where I live, so the coupons of over $10 in savings for baby stuff are worthless to me, but If you have a DG near you and can use these coupons for baby stuff please let me know in the comment section. I like how the Dollar General diapers fit snugly, but not too snug they cut off circulation. These diapers are cottony soft and seem to be comfortable for my daughter to wear. My daughter is fairly active so I am glad these diapers move and flex with her. These also have very good tabs that grip well to the diaper. I also like how they are hypoallergenic with vitamin E and Aloe to help protect baby's skin. These diapers do not smell like baby powder and do not have any other scent to them. The soft, stretchy side panels hold leaks in well for both day and night. They absorb very well and lock the wetness away from the skin. We did not have any blowouts or leaks while using these diapers. They are very slim for less bulk in the diaper bag and on the tush :) The size is also printed on every diaper so that you don't get mixed up if you have more than one little one in diapers at a time. They also have cute zoo animals on them that are great for both boys and girls. They seem to work as well as WinCo diapers and better than other brands I have tried. Bamboobies Review and Giveaway

I received a pair of the washable and reusable Bamboobies regular nursing pads and a pair of their overnights. These are amazing! I was astonished at how incredibly soft they feel. They remind me of the softest cashmere sweater or soft pussy willows! In addition to how comfortable these are to wear they are also very absorbent and wick away from the skin leaving no leaks behind. Since they are made of organic, sustainable fabrics, Bamboobies are a great eco-friendly and economical alternative to disposable pads.

The Bamboobies regular nursing pads are a unique heart shape which hugs the breast, protecting it and your clothing from breast milk leakage. Since they contour to the shape of your breast they also don't show outlines or wrinkles through your clothing. The heart shape is the best part of these and I think they would be wonderful gifts for Valentine's for a nursing mom or nursing mom to be!! The overnights are also super soft but larger and round for complete coverage when you need the maximum protection from leaks. I found these to be great while sleeping. They catch all the leaks and you will never wake up in the middle of the night in a puddle of breast milk again!

The fabrics these nursing pads are made of are fabulous! Their bamboo fabrics are certified organic. Bamboo is not cold when wet like cotton is. Holiday Gift Guide 2011 SKOY Cloth Review and Giveaway

SKOY are handy squares of reusable biodegradable absorbent cleaning cloths. They are so much better than a paper towel or napkin because of their reusability. They are such an earth friendly product. I love using SKOY with eco-friendly, family friendly antibacterial cleaning sprays like Method or Seventh Generation for surface cleaning. SKOY are also great for scrubbing with and hold up very well use after use. My littlest actually knocked over a glass of juice on the kid's little table and SKOY just sucked that spill up like a sponge, but without leaving behind a trail of nasty growies or liquid!

I have washed them in the washing machine and dried them many times now and they come out looking good as new. I have found that drying them in the dryer shrinks them a little, so either air drying or drying them on the lowest setting on your dryer is recommended.

My kids were thrilled with this product as well. They used one to clean the bathroom and when they cleaned the faucet and the mirror with it they both shined...no streaks and no residue like what paper towels or napkins leave behind. They made them gleam even better than using newspaper.

SKOY Cloth Review and Giveaway

This is absolutely hands down my new favorite cleaning product! SKOY gave me 2 packs of SKOY cloths to test out. I have tested SKOY cloths with everything from scrubbing crusted on dishes to wiping up spills. You can use them over and over again. I have washed them in the washing machine and dried them many times now and they come out looking good as new. I have found that drying them in the dryer shrinks them until you put water on them again and then they go back to normal size. I recommend the lowest setting on your dryer or to air dry them. They are very heavy duty and last a long time. They soak up spills very well. Just the other day my littlest got a hold of a cup of milk on the kids' table and it went all over. SKOY came to my rescue and sopped up every last little drip. These things are fabulous! They are so much better than a paper towel or napkin!

I have no qualms about this product. I am, however; disappointed that their website is not browser friendly. I primarily use Firefox at home and had to switch to Explorer to view the website as intended. Maybe they are not aware of this fact. I hope they take it into consideration to view it in different browsers so that they can make it viewable in all browsers. I can overlook this at the moment because of how fantastic this product is.
