I received a bottle of the Eucerin Daily Skin Balance Body Lotion and a bottle of the Eucerin Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying Hand Crème for free from Eucerin for free to try out and review.
These lotions are a great barrier for your skin from external elements, like pollution and climate changes. They help balance skin's natural pH level to enhance its natural defenses. The provitamin B5, glycerin and a pH5 buffer to provide all day moisturization and create the natural defense. These are lightly scented, but I really thought the scent was fine. They go on smooth and aren't greasy.
Eucerin is one of the leading companies for skin care products. They use high quality ingredients that are safe for the most sensitive skin in their wonderful line of products. These are clinically-proven and trusted by dermatologists.
Here is information this month from Eucerin for preventing wrinkles and other signs of aging:
· First you should know what causes aging. Skin is composed of two main layers, the epidermis and the dermis, with an insulating layer of fat below, called the subcutis. The dermis provides a network of collagen and other connective tissue elements that act like a scaffold that helps to maintain firm, flexible skin. As you age, the collagen network is diminished and your dermis holds less water.
· Put it out, seriously. Smoking affects more than just your lungs. It results in poor circulation, brown spots and wrinkles. Many of the 4,000 plus chemicals in tobacco smoke can damage our collagen and elastin when absorbed into the skin. These fibers give skin strength and elasticity, so when you’re smoking, you’re getting sags and wrinkles (and giving them to other people too!).
· Wear sunscreen. We know you’ve heard this one before but we just can’t stress enough how important it is. Sunscreen is one of the most effective ways to help prevent wrinkles. UVA rays can penetrate into the dermis of the skin and are the primary cause of chronic sun-induced damage like premature skin aging. These rays (or ultraviolet light from tanning booths) are toxic to your skin. They increase production of free radicals and trigger cellular changes that can lead to wrinkles, brown spots, sunburn and dryness, or serious diseases like cancer.
· Moisturize. Moisturize. Moisturize. Extreme changes in temperature and humidity can damage the skin. Cold and dry air saps water from our skin, leaving it dry and flaky while hot and humid air can lead to drier, unhealthy skin. Much of this climatic impact on skin can be prevented with moisturizing cream. Eucerin’s new Daily Skin Balance Skin Fortifying Body Lotion and Hand Crème strengthens the skin’s protective barrier against external elements and enhances skin health while providing 24 hour moisture.
· Eat Well. You are what you eat. Limit your consumption of low-fiber, high-sugar carbohydrates. A diet composed of fruits and vegetables, lean protein, high-fiber grains, low-fat dairy and poly- and monounsaturated fats that is low in red meat, saturated fats and sugar, will help maintain your skin’s health

Eucerin Plus Lotion Review and Giveaway
I received a 2.7 fl oz bottle of the Eucerin Plus Intensive Repair Hand Creme and a 16.9 fl oz bottle of the Eucerin Plus Smoothing Essentials Lotion from Eucerin for free to try out and review.
The Fall/Winter season is upon us and air gets drier, especially inside. I have problems with my hands getting really dry and chapped. My hands are loving this Eucerin Plus lotion! It doesn't make my hands sting when I use it and gives them the moisture they need to stay soft.
Eucerin is one of the leading companies for skin care products. They use high quality ingredients that are safe for the most sensitive skin in their wonderful line of products. These are clinically-proven and trusted by dermatologists. Eucerin Plus lotions are a mixture of intense moisturizer and exfoliators for dry to the very driest skin.
Both the Eucerin Plus Intensive Repair Hand Creme and the Eucerin Plus Smoothing Essentials Lotion are moisturizers that definitely made my hands feel smoother and since both are fast-absorbing they didn't leave my hands greasy feeling. Both have the ingredients of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and urea that gently exfoliate your skin and intensively moisturize. Just beware that when using these lotions you wear sunscreen and protective clothing while outdoors because the AHA may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun. These both are hypoallergenic and don't make anyone in my family's skin break out.
This month is National Skin Care Awareness month. Here are some tips for National Skin Care Awareness Month to help strengthen and protect your skin:
Tip #1 – Cleanse Gently
Skin feel a little too tight? It may be a sign that you have not cleansed properly. Clean skin is the first step to healthy skin. What ever your skin type, dermatologists recommend using a mild, non-irritating cleanser rather than a harsh soap. You don't want to strip your skin's natural oils away. If you do, this can lead to overly tight-feeling skin.
Tip #2 – Moisturize Properly
Moisturizers help attach water to the skin so that it doesn’t evaporate as quickly. They can also bring the correct pH balance to your skin and enhance its natural defenses, strengthening your skin's protective barrier against external elements like pollution and climate changes.
Tip #3 – Take Time to Relax
If you’re under a great deal of stress your skin is probably stressed too. Stressed-out skin can eventually become thin and less able to regenerate itself. This can be by prevented if you take time to relax every day. This will help your mental, skin and body health as well.
Tip #4 – Feed Your Skin Right
"You are what you eat" is so true especially with your skin. Blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and plums have high antioxidant levels that can help neutralize free radicals that can damage collagen and elastin, proteins that help maintain skin’s elasticity and tone.

Eucerin Everyday Protection Lotion Review
I received a 4 fl oz bottle of the Eucerin Everyday Protection Lotion for face with a SPF of 30 and a 13.5 fl oz bottle of the Eucerin Everyday Protection Lotion for body with a SPF of 15 for free from Eucerin to try out and review.
It is so important to take care of your skin. The need for skincare products that nourish and protect our skin so that our skin stays youthful looking and healthy is ever growing with the impact of UV radiation from the sun's rays. Recommended by The Skin Cancer Foundation, Eucerin Everyday Protection Lotion is a wonderful product that helps protect the skin from this harmful exposure. It's ingredients of micro-fine zinc oxide and titanium dioxide provide blockage against UV causing skin damage. They are enriched with Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, to help protect from free radicals damaging the skin cells. It is fragrance-free, oil-free, non-irritating and won't clog pores.
I love these products! I only wish that the SPF were higher on both. I applied the face lotion on my face and was very happy with the feel. I did the same with the body lotion and applied it to exposed skin except for my face. Both were a little oily, but overall they went on smooth and felt good on my skin. As soon as I applied the lotions my skin felt very moisturized and it is proven to relieve dry skin for 24 hours. My skin felt healthier with these products on and I felt better knowing that my skin was being protected. My son, Jaedan, has such sensitive skin that I wanted to try these out on him also. He didn't have any break outs or skin irritations with these products.
The more sunburns as a child the higher the risk of getting skin cancer. That is why I feel it is so important to protect my kids from the damaging effects of the sun! You should apply sunscreens with at least 15 SPF and encourage your child to wear hats with brims and coverage. Some hats I have seen are also made out of UV protectant material which is a plus. Sunglasses that provide protection from UV radiation are also recommended, even for the very young child. Although many children may want to play outdoors wearing little clothing in the hot summer time, we as parents should encourage our children to keep as much skin area covered by clothing as possible. These guidelines are not only great for our kids, but we need to also take them into account for ourselves so that our skin can stay healthy and youthful.
