Rawlings Vertical Sports Organizer Review and Giveaway

We received a Vertical Sports Organizer from Rawlings free to facilitate this review and one to also giveaway to one lucky reader.

Rawlings is the leader in baseball and football equipment. They produce gloves, bats, helmets, protective gear, baseballs, bags, apparel, footballs, etc. They also make organizers to put your sports equipment into.

My boys love to play sports. They are fans of the cooperation, camaraderie of playing with the team, learning good sportsmanship, and gaining lasting friendships. We have ended up with a lot of random outdoor sporting gear and really didn't have a good way of storing it. We were asked to review and giveaway a Rawlings Vertical Sports Organizer and it helped us with our organization.

The Rawlings Vertical Sports Organizer is great for bats, balls, sticks, gloves, helmets and more. Holds up to 6 bats and a total of 25 lbs. It comes with 6 hanging screws, 3 cinches and 2 helmet hooks. The ball caddy of this organizer is especially great for baseballs, tennis balls and lacrosse balls. The cinches are great to cinch up longer items so the won't fall over while being stored. With the helmet hooks you can easily hang stuff from the organizer. The two mesh pockets that are above the long handled storage and ball caddy you can put any other outdoor toys that will fit. These are made of mildew and abrasion-resistant durable vinyl and mesh, making them perfect for the garage, shed, basement or closets. Actual product size 18" wide X 48" high X 9" deep.

I put my sons' knee and elbow pads, Frisbee, Nerf football, bad-mitten set, jump rope, horseshoe set, a tent frame, base ball, base ball mitt, etc. in it. We enjoyed filling it after it was installed on the wall and it made the clutter of some of their equipment go away. It comes with clear installation instructions. We decided to put it outside on the garage because the product has a California Proposition 65 warning that it contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. I do not want this product inside my home knowing that information. I also told my boys to wash their hands well after touching it.

 WIN IT
Prize: 1 winner will win a Rawlings Vertical Sports Organizer for their very own.

I am trying out Rafflecopter on my blog. Please click on this post link if you do not see the script for it below. Also, if there is anything that is wrong with it let me know by emailing me: finamoon AT gmail DOT com I will try my best at fixing it. Thanks for being awesome readers!

Rubbermaid Glass Food Storage Containers with Easy Find Lids Review and Giveaway

When you think of the name Rubbermaid you might think of mainly plastic products for storage, which up until very recently was true. Now Rubbermaid has come out with an innovative product for the people that prefer glass. The Rubbermaid Glass Food Storage Containers with Easy Find Lids are made of a thick crystal clear, tempered glass that is safe for microwave, freezer, dishwasher and oven (up to 425°F minus the lid) use and looks great on the table or counter top! These glass food storage containers feature the Easy Find Lids organization system. Finding the right lid is quick and easy because the lids snap to the bottom of the container and to each other. Both glass containers and their lids neatly nest inside each other for compact organization in your cabinets and are both BPA free. The lids have a built-in gasket that creates a leak proof seal to keep foods fresher, longer.

I absolutely love the Rubbermaid Glass Food Storage Containers with Easy Find Lids! I received an 8 piece set which includes (4 glass containers and 4 lids): (1) 1.5 cup, (1) 2.5 cup, (1) 4 cup, (1) 5.5 cup for free to review from Rubbermaid. They are so easy to use and I love how they stack and fit together tidily. I wish I had more of them! These are great for college dorms, small apartments, or just small kitchens where space is a premium. I have a fairly small kitchen so these are perfect for me and I love the glass better than plastic I have had in the past because it doesn't stain or lock in odor, are super easy to clean, and can be used more places than just the fridge. They are also a prettier alternative for serving in than pots and pans and will make the transition from table to fridge or freezer easier.

The things I would love for Rubbermaid to consider is making the lids available in more colors than just Racer Red and possibly making more shapes than just square bowls and more sizes. I would also love lids that could go in the oven with the glass containers, as these cannot.

Here are some things I do with my Rubbermaid Glass Food Storage Containers with Easy Find Lids:
1. Organization
2. Meal/Food Server
3. Leftover Re-heater
4. Small Casserole/Food Dishes
5. Meal Preparation
6. Meal and Food Storage
7. Tote-able containers for Party Dishes

BUY IT:
Buy these online at $25.99 per 8 piece set at Rubbermaid.com. You can also find them at Target, Walmart and some grocery stores.

Medela Breastmilk Labeling & Storage System Review and Giveaway

Breastfeeding is best done exclusively for the first 6 months of baby's life and in my opinion is the best option for mothers with the support to do so. I feel there is such a strong need for this support and unfortunately a lot of the women today don't get the support they need to start or keep breastfeeding. Even the Surgeon General has issued a call to action to support breastfeeding.

I personally choose to breastfeed longer than the first 6 months because of the numerous benefits. Especially of continued immune support from sickness. Breastfed babies are healthier babies and I personally have seen this over and over again with my disabled daughter Tatiana after the doctors told me to stop breastfeeding her when she was 3. She was just not as healthy as she would have been if I had continued. Formula has most recently been in the spotlight for causing obesity and being recalled because bugs were found in it. Yuck!

I am so very thankful to be able to breastfeed and to have chosen to breastfeed all of my children when they were babies. My nursling Zari is exclusively breastfed right now and I cherish every moment I have bonding with her and feeding her my "liquid gold". In fact while I am typing this I am also nursing her. Three cheers for multi-tasking :)

I applause Medela for their longstanding commitment to promote what is best for our babies, breastmilk! Medela has just came out with a new wonderful product for breastfeeding mothers. It is a breastmilk labeling & storage system.

This storage system is unique because it has:
* two easy twist-and-lock lids that mark the day of the week the breastmilk was pumped and a.m., p.m., or midday so that you can track effortlessly
* two 5oz Medela polypropylene breastmilk bottles
* one organizer tray that can hold up to 6 Medela polypropylene breastmilk bottles, can also hold Pump & Save breastmilk bags (sold separately), has clearly marked "in" and "out" arrows to tell you which bottle is "next in line", has a handle so you can easily move it, and keeps the bottles organized and upright in the fridge or freezer.

All of this is 100% reusable, dishwasher safe and BPA free! No more searching through the fridge or freezer for your precious breastmilk and having to discard your "liquid gold" because it wasn't used quick enough!

I love Medela's products and am a Medela Mom Maven. As a Medela Mom Maven I love to constantly share information, opinions and ideas on parenting. I also strive to provide my baby with the very best by breastfeeding. You too can join. I am also a stay at home mother and so I find myself pumping very little, but I do pump so that I can have a backup supply so that my precious "liquid gold" is there for my baby in the event when I am not. This wonderful breastmilk labeling & storage system is a lifesaver. It keeps it all in one place easily and neatly and helps me know what is the freshest breastmilk so I can avoid waste. I am so glad to have this and to be prepared if needed!

Here is a handy little chart to help you with breastmilk storage:

BUY IT:
You can purchase this system for around $16 on Amazon.com or on Babies R Us for $16.99. Additional labeling lids can also be purchased separately also if you already have Medela polypropylene breastmilk bottles.
