PASSION Whole Heart Album Review & Giveaway #PassionWholeHeart #FlyBy

I received this product free to facilitate this review and an opportunity to giveaway a CD. Affiliate links may be in this posting. Thanks for supporting my blog.

PASSION came into being, founded by Louie and Shelley Giglio, in 1995 as a movement to help people (specifically college students) to become closer to God and awaken spiritually. PASSION Music developed when PASSION started documenting the musical portion of their annual conferences via live worship recordings in 1998. Since the first release in 1998, Passion albums have sold over 1.8 million units while introducing listeners to worship songs like "Our God", "Holy Is The Lord", "How Great Is Our God", and "God Of This City". The four-time Dove Award winners have had seven albums debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian Albums Chart with two hitting the Top 5 on the Billboard 200.

WHOLE HEART is the new live album from PASSION Music, captured at the Passion Conference 2018 in Atlanta, GA. This captures the powerful music and allows those that could not attend the conference to experience it. This album features Passion Artists: Kristian Stanfill, Melodie Malone, Sean Curran, Matt Redman, Brett Younker, Tauren Wells, and Crowder.

You can listen to Passion music at http://capcmg.me/PassionSpotify

Whole Heart Track List:

1. Whole Heart (Live) (Feat. Kristian Stanfill)
2. Almighty God (Live) (Feat. Sean Curran)
3. God, You're So Good (Live) (Feat. Kristian Stanfill & Melodie Malone)
4. Reckless Love (Live) (Feat. Melodie Malone)
5. Heaven (Live) (Feat. Sean Curran)
6. More Like Jesus (Live) (Feat. Kristian Stanfill)
7. Hallelujah, Our God Reigns (Live) (Feat. Brett Younker)
8. Ghost (Live) (Feat. Crowder)
9. Ever Almighty (Live) (Feat. Melodie Malone)
10. Great Are You Lord (Live) (Feat. Matt Redman)
11. All My Hope (Live) (Feat. Crowder & Tauren Wells)

My Thoughts:
I love listening to good music, especially when my day is going rotten. Music that uplifts and inspires is the best kind in my opinion. This music helps get me through my day, relaxes me, and energizes me. I love most Christian music for this reason too. The messages are usually positive and everyone needs positive things in their lives.

Whole Heart from PASSION Music is a wonderful album of praise and worship music. My favorite artists on the album are Melodie Malone and Tauren Wells. I love the song Ever Almighty the best. The whole album is just fabulous though and I highly recommend it.

Laura Story Open Hands Album Review and Giveaway #OpenHands #FlyBy

I received this album free to facilitate this review. Affiliate links may be in this posting. Thanks for supporting my blog.

Open Hands is a beautiful praise and worship album all about the Savior. It is sung by Grammy award winning artist, speaker, songwriter, author, mom, and worship leader, Laura Story. The theme throughout is about putting our complete trust and faith in our Lord God so that when we are lost, broken, in pain, and depressed, He can comfort us, show us the way, and give us hope.

Laura Story has a lovely voice and the accompaniment is magnificent. This album is beautifully written and performed. The title track, Open Hands, which Laura sings with Third Day's Mac Powell, expresses perfectly how we need to offer up freely for Him  to take our burdens from us so that we may have Open Hands, letting go of everything, surrendering to Him, and holding nothing back. I absolutely love the song Death Was Arrested. It is a wonderful Easter song about Christ's sacrifice for us all, taking the sins of humanity upon Him, releasing us from this bondage. Give You Faith brought me to tears. It struck a chord in me and was made me very emotional. This whole album is glorious! The words and music capture my heart and speak deeply to me.  I can listen to this CD over and over again!

Track Listing:

1. Death Was Arrested
2. Open Hands
3. You Came Running
4. Give You Faith
5. For The Love of My King
6. Awake My Soul (A 1000 Tongues)
7. Whisper
8. Every Word You Breathe
9.  Majesty
10. Extraordinary
11. Grace Abounds

Phil Wickham Children of God Album Review #ChildrenOfGod #FlyBy

I received this CD free to facilitate this review. Affiliate links may be in this posting. Thanks for supporting my blog.

Phil Wickham Children of God Album is a miracle album. A few months into the process of writing this, his seventh album, Phil was diagnosed with a vocal polyp, had surgery to remove it, and was told he could not speak or sing for a whole month. He remained ever faithful and through this trial overcame with a reawakening in his heart. Just two weeks into the healing process he was told by doctors they didn't see scarring and after some vocal therapy he was back and singing again.

I love this album. It reverberates his personal feelings and love towards the Savior. Phil's new voice is unwavering. This album of praise and worship music has new energy and confidence. His passionate words embrace what is in his heart. My favorite songs on this album is The Secret Place and Children of God. I could listen to this CD over and over again.

Track Listing:

1. Doxology//Amen
2. Better Than Life
3. Your Love Awakens Me
4. The Secret Place (feat. Madison Cunningham)
5. Wide Awake
6. My All In All
7. Starmaker (High Above the Earth)
8. Children of God
9. Stand In Awe
10. Body Mind & Soul
11. As It Is In Heaven
12. Spirit of God

In 1998, Passion decided to document the musical portion of the annual conferences via live worship recordings -- raw, in-your-face praise songs with an alternative edge. Since the first release in 1998, Passion albums have sold over 1.3 million units while introducing the church to worship songs like "Our God", "Holy Is The Lord", "How Great Is Our God", and "God Of This City". Hillsong OPEN HEAVEN / River Wild Album Review and Giveaway

I received this album free to facilitate this review. Affiliate links may be in this posting. Thanks for supporting my blog.

I love Christian worship music by Hillsong Music very much. Hillsong Worship is a branch of Hillsong Music with many wonderful vocalists. If you haven't heard these great artists and you love Christian music of praise and worship you should definitely check them out!

On October 16th Hillsong Worship released a new live album, Hillsong OPEN HEAVEN / River Wild. It is a treasure of uplifting, beautiful music that inspires us to strengthen our faith in Christ. It takes some of the great music of Hillsong Church's worship leaders and puts them on a CD for all the world to listen to. The album comes with an insert that has all of the lyrics of the songs so that you can sing along.

I really can't pick a favorite from this album because I love all the songs. O Praise The Name (Anástasis) has some wonderful lyrics about the Resurrection (Anástasis) of Christ and this I will have in my play list for Easter. I had heard Love On The Line before because I got it as a free download with the book, LIVE LOVE LEAD. This song is a beacon to how Christ is our Savior.  I love the unfailing faith in Christ that is a predominate theme in this album. All the songs have deep, powerful lyrics and engaging, emotional themes that praise Christ.

The title of this album is gorgeous. It compels me to envision the skies opening up to the everlasting Glory of God and when it does we on bended knee passionately worship Him. The second half of this title is in reference to Jesus being the source of Living Water...a River Wild that flows through all those that believe in Him.

"In Jesus, Heaven opens, and in us He stirs a river wild… A passionate, explosive love for God and for the humanity He created." - Cass Langton, Global Creative Pastor of Hillsong Church.

This album is beautiful. I will be playing it in my home often. I recommend it to everyone that loves Hillsong or anyone that loves praise and worship music.

Tracklisting:

1. O Praise The Name (Anástasis)
2. Love On The Line
3. One Thing
4. Open Heaven (River Wild)
5. Transfiguration
6. What A Saviour
7. Heart Like Heaven
8. Jesus I Need You
9. Here With You
10. In God We Trust
11. Faithfulness
12. Never Forsaken

Hillsong United Empires Album Review and Giveaway

When my day is going bad good music always makes me happy. I love music and if I can praise God while I listen or sing along, all the better. My favorite music uplifts and inspires. My heart and soul gets plugged into the lyrics and/or instrumentals and I feel so much better about everything around me. The stress and everyday chaos of life just melts away.

Empires is the forth studio album of Christian contemporary music composed of Christmas songs led by Hillsong Church. Hillsong Church is a Pentecostal mega church affiliated with Australian Christian Churches (the Australian branch of the Assemblies of God) and located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Hillsong was started in 1998 & was renamed to Hillsong United in 2002. They have 20 albums and several top Christian songs. They are committed to writing songs that speak truth and connect people everywhere with God.

I love Christian worship music by the group Hillsong United very much. If you haven't heard them and you love Christian music of praise and worship you should definitely check them out! Hillsong is a great band with four wonderful vocalists. Their vocalist, Taya Smith, is my favorite because of her beautiful voice. I recently got to listen to a call with her that happened with FlyBy. She is so much fun and I absolutely love her Aussie accent :)

Current Members (via Wikipedia):

• Joel Houston — worship leader, guitar, keys, percussion
• Jonathon "JD" Douglass — worship leader, percussion
• Jad Gillies — worship leader, guitar
• Matty Crocker — worship leader, guitar, percussion
• Taya Smith — worship leader
• Michael Guy Chislett — guitar, keys, music director
• Dylan Thomas — rhythm guitar, keys, music director
• Timon Klein — lead guitar
• Benjamin "Tenni" Tennikoff — keyboards, programming, sampling
• Adam Crosariol — bass guitar
• Simon Kobler — drums

Track Listing:

1. Here Now (Madness)
2. Say the Word
3. Heart Like Heaven
4. Touch the Sky
5. Street Called Mercy
6. When I Lost My Heart To You (Hallelujah)
7. Even When It Hurts (Praise Song)
8. Prince Of Peace
9. Empires
10. Rule
11. Captain
12. Closer Than You Know

Empires was released May 26th , 2015. It is a very real and honest album. It embodies the heart and soul and uplifts the spirit. I absolutely love the lyrics and instrumentals. At some points though, the vocals get washed over by the the instruments and are lost. I wish the vocals were all crisp and clear so you can listen and hear the words to every song. Even though this is the case to some of the songs, the album comes with a pamphlet with the lyrics and after you have read them while the song is playing more than once you get to know what is being said and you can sing along better. My favorite song on the album is Touch the Sky. Hillsong United's songs are the perfect for praising God and worshiping Him.

The Royal Royal The Royalty CD Review and Giveaway

The Royal Royal is a Christian worship music band that comes out of Ontario, Canada. Growing up with a Pastor as a father and music in the household, brothers Nathan and Gabriel Finochio came together to form the band. Their single, "Praise Him" hit #1 on iTunes Christian U.S. and Canada charts. They have also created a fan base after touring with other popular worship bands like "Hillsong United."

The Good: The songs have great messages of faith and praise. The whole album takes on both an alternative and contemporary genre of sounds for worship music. It is hard to visualize the band as being a duo because they develop a much bigger sound.

The Bad: This album has too much repetition in my opinion and could do without so much of it. Maybe it is because they want the words to stick in your mind. The songs usually start out strong with good lyrics, but fall short at the end where the lyrics just get said over and over again. Some like this type of worship music, but in my opinion it got a little old.

Track List:

1. Love
2. Praise Him
3. To You
4. Heartbeats
5. How Wonderful
6. Saviour
7. How Long
8. Life In Your Hand
9. Mighty Hands
10. My Salvation
11. My Hope
12. Draw Near
13. October
14. Your Voice
