Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care Review and Soft Scrub Coupon Giveaway
I received Soft Scrub® 4-in-1 Toilet Care for free to facilitate this review and free coupons to giveaway.
I received the Soft Scrub® 4-in-1 Toilet Care and I love most Soft Scrub products, but this one is way overpowering in scent and makes me sneeze and cough. I could even smell it through the box. If it was just a chlorine smell or a slight bleach smell that would be better in my opinion than the overpowering smell of Alpine Fresh plus the bleach smell. I don't think I would like the other scent, Sapphire Waters, any better, but it might be better than this one.
I ended up placing it on my farm house home toilet because it is a house I am not living in at the moment because it is being totally remodeled inside. It was easy to install. All you have to do is unfold the hanger and place it on the toilet bowl rim. It fit very nicely. Then you flush and make sure it is in the flow of water. Once the hanger cage is empty you can dispose of the plastic hanger cage and replace when needed.
Forgive me of the uncleanliness of the bathroom in the picture, but since we are remodeling we really haven't kept it perfect. This house is on well water and we haven't filtered it yet so there is major rust stains in the toilet. I was hoping it would help remove those. When ever we were over there and help with the remodel process we would give the toilet some flushes so that it was like it was being used and the product could actually be tested.
This product is placed in toilet bowl with a rim hanger not in the tank like most toilet cleaner tablets I've seen. Also this isn't really a tablet, but 4 balls in a plastic cage. It is supposed to slow down dissolving of the product, keep the product in place, and allow for the flow water to activate the toilet cleaner with each flush. It hung above the water level in my toilet so it doesn't dissolve unless the toilet is flushed. It is also supposed to clean the toilet, prevent future buildup, fight toilet ring and freshen up to 4 weeks. It comes in 2 fragrances: Alpine Fresh (fragrance with bleach) and Sapphire Waters (fragrance without bleach).
One of my most hated chores in my home is cleaning the toilet. This product is really supposed to be used in between cleanings so you don't have to clean the toilet as often so, I wasn't sure if this would work on a toilet which had rust stains sitting on the inside of the bowl for who knows how long. It minimized the stain some and I think over the course of the products life will a lot more. I will post after pictures when I get them later.

Ecostore USA Review and Giveaway
I have been nesting and getting ready for the new baby's arrival and Teela, my 2 and a half year old daughter, has been helping me out. She is a great little helper and loves to help me clean around the house. I am also stocking stuff for the new baby and organizing everything too. I love environmentally and family friendly cleaning and personal care products because they are safer to use...especially since I am pregnant! Ecostore USA has some great products that are just that! They make plant and mineral based Household Cleaning, Baby, Pet and Personal Care products. Their slogan is No Nasty Chemicals! Better For your health, for your family and for the planet.I have been given the chance to review a multitude of products from their store for free: Baby Body Wash, Baby Moisturizer, All Purpose Spray Cleaner and Lemon Cream Cleanser. I am very happy with all the products I was given to try out. These are all made in New Zealand. Oh how I wish to visit New Zealand someday because of its beauty and the ocean that surrounds it. These products also do not contain genetically engineered (GE) things and are not tested on animals.
I used the Baby Body Wash on Teela to try it out before baby comes because her toddler skin is sensitive to things. It is gentile on her skin, lathers up well, rinses clean and is very pleasant smelling. It has a combination of Lavender, Geranium and Eucalyptus oil among other plant based things that make it smell very good.
The Baby Moisturizer is a great after bath lotion for baby. Since it is safe for baby's skin it is safe for the whole family to use. I love this lotion because it keeps your skin "baby soft" and smells just as wonderful as the Baby Body Wash. It also has a combination of Lavender, Geranium and Eucalyptus oil among other plant based things plus it has Olive oil, Jojoba oil, Coconut oil, Shea butter and Cocoa butter to make it creamy and luxurious. These ingredients help nourish and condition the skin.
The All Purpose Spray Cleaner is an awesome citrus based cleaner that works on most household surface areas to get them sparkling clean. I loved how it cleaned my kitchen counters, sinks and bathroom shower. The citrus scent was also pleasant.
The Lemon Cream Cleanser is a wonderful cleaner that has a Lemon scent due to the Lemon Verbena oil that it has in it. It cleans vitreous enamel baths and basins, white surfaces, stainless steel, chrome, tile and laminate. I have found it great for getting crayon off of things and cleaning my stove top! A little sure does go a long way!

Skin Free Review and Giveaway
Skin Free is a company that boasts that their skin care products: are all natural, have vegan ingredients, no perfumes, no petroleum products, no harmful chemicals, no steroids, no colorants, no greasy feeling, no animal testing, and are cruelty free. Their products are recommended for individuals with: extreme dry skin, skin or fragrance allergies, psoriasis, dermatitis, and / or eczema.I love exfoliating scrubs and body butters so I picked their Skin Renewal System to test and review. It includes their Sweet & Smooth Sugar Scrub and their Whipped Tamanu Body Butter.
I tried the Sweet & Smooth Sugar Scrub first which was placed in a clear plastic bag for shipment. I was happy that this was done because it had leaked oil out of the container and into the bag instead of all over the box it came in. I decided to store it in the refrigerator because it looked like the contents were melting and separating. Once I decided to try it out it was a hot day and even though there was still an extra step to mix it together that it doesn't have in the directions it felt really good on my face. The chilled mix of sugar, olive oil, sweet almond oil, glycerin, and Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate (a preservative that is used in small quantities and so shouldn't irritate your skin) was invigorating. It polished my skin deep down smoothing away any imperfections and dull, dry skin. Besides the face it can be used on the rest of the body, especially the hands for an instant manicure and rough areas of the elbows or feet.
The Tamanu Body Butter has distilled spring water, shea butter, tamanu oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil, emulsifying wax, stearic acid (a waxy solid made from vegetable fats and oils), essential oils of grapefruit and geranium, and Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate (a preservative that is used in small quantities and so shouldn't irritate your skin). It smells very distinctly of the geranium essential oil. So, if you don't like flowery smells or are allergic just take that into account. My son, Jaedan, is apparently allergic because when my husband and I tried the body butter he started sneezing nonstop until he left the room where we were. Regardless of that little setback my husband and I really liked the Tamanu Body Butter although maybe they could have had two varieties of Tamanu Body Butter...one with the geranium and one without. Tamanu is a plant that Polynesians prize for its healing and protective properties. The oil is used by them for everything from minor abrasions to severe sunburn and major skin infections. Tamanu oil has a unique fatty acid called calophyllic acid that stimulates cell growth. It also contains calophyllolide which has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The Tamanu Body Butter felt very nice going on my skin and rubbed in well. It made my skin extra soft and it felt as though it was smoothing out my laugh lines on my face.I felt as though I was at a spa having a relaxing treatment done when using these products!
Skin Free is having a Buy One Get One (BOGO) free promotion with select Walgreens and CVS stores! Buy product at select Walgreens or CVS & Skin Free will send you a free product.
Win it! Julie at Skin Free is giving one lucky reader a $30 gift certificate for products at Skin Free.

Weleda Review
Weleda is a company that produces the finest Biodynamic, organic, and natural skin and baby care products. They do not test their products or ingredients on animals. They use 100 percent natural oils and pure essential oils which also give needed pure nutrients, like vitamins to the skin and hair. Their products are also free from synthetics.I received three Weleda Baby care products to test and review. All three products have a wonderful sweet fragrance and Calendula in them. Calendula is known as a medicinal plant as it aids in the healing processes of the skin. The first product I tried was the Calendula Shampoo & Body Wash. It is milky white in color and lathered very well in Teela's hair. She was enjoying herself as you can see in the pictures :)

The shampoo and body wash is also tear free and gentle to the skin and eyes. She smelled really good when she was done bathing. I couldn't keep from kissing her and blowing on her bare belly :) Then I used the Calendula Oil to give her a baby massage. She sure enjoyed that and her skin felt so very soft and warm. The next product I tried was the Calendula Diaper Care. It is an ointment cream for diaper rash relief and keeping baby's bum protected. I was very pleased with how well it worked on Teela's delicate skin. She also slept really well that night I might add.
I also signed up for their WE magazine which I received the other day. It has free coupons inside and tells more about their company. I loved reading it. Among the things I learned was that with each purchase of Weleda Everon Lip Balm, made from beeswax from bees in Tanzania you'll help save an invaluable member of our ecosystem. 100 percent of the sale will go to the Bee Sanctuary of Spikenard Farm and "Vanishing of the Bees".Also, if you live in the USA you can buy Weleda products at your local Target, Whole Foods, and select health food stores. I urge you to go to the Weleda website, get more special offers, and learn more about this wonderful company. Also, you can follow them on Twitter, become a fan of them on Facebook, and a fan of the Weleda USA on Facebook.
