Reba McEntire Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope Album Review & #Giveaway #SingItNow #Reba

I received this album free to facilitate this review. Affiliate links may be in this posting. Thanks for supporting my blog.

I love Reba McEntire. She is a wonderful country western singer. This album, Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope, is Reba's first gospel album. It is a collection of hymns and songs that come from bluegrass, contemporary, country, and old gospel. It is made up of two whole CDs packed with music. Some you may have heard before, other you may not have. There are songs about doubt, fear, sadness, praise, compassion, surrender, trust, faith, hope, and love. Some are upbeat, some are sad, some are just Reba singing her soul out and others have gospel singers singing with her in the background.

My favorite tracks include a few songs on each CD. I love I'll Fly Away because of the wonderful fiddle in it too. I also love Reba's rendition of Swing Low Sweet Chariot. She rocks this one out. The next song is a lovely arrangement with piano and Reba's sweet voice. Softly and Tenderly features Kelly Clarkson and Trisha Yearwood as well as Reba's vocals. I love the title track, Sing It Now. It is one I hadn't heard of until now and I am so glad I did. There is a God is one of my favorites because it is so true! You can not look around at the good Earth and not know this!

I love that the liner notes have not only some color pictures of Reba, the name of the songs, who they are written by and how to find the original, but some very personal thoughts from Reba herself. I absolutely loved reading these about each song. They gave me a small look into the lady that I have idolized since I was small.

If you love good gospel music and Reba McEntire, this album is definitely for you!

I have loved Reba McEntire's singing for years. Two of my all-time favorite Reba songs are "Whoever's in New England" and "Is There Life Out There." I'm delighted that she has finally released a gospel album, and listening online, I'm really liking "There Is A God" and "Softly and Tenderly." There are so many great songs on the album; it's hard to choose a favorite.

Out of all of Reba's songs I love Fancy! Out of these songs, I'd want to check out Softly and Tenderly!
