Sports Illustrated Kids Sports Parent Of The Year Winner & Holiday Offer!

Sports Illustrated Kids is a great magazine for kids that love sports. It has great action photos, pull out posters, sports collecting cards, easy-to-read stories about star athletes, helpful instructional tips from the pros, humor, comics, trivia, player interviews, child reporters, games and activities. I believe my boys would love the magazine.

This month, the very first “SportsParent of the Year” award was given. With the help of parenting bloggers, the magazine received multiple nominations to honor dedicated sports parents from around the U.S. The title went to Kristie Finnan, a mother of 3.  Finnan, from Pennsylvania, coaches her daughter’s soccer team and regularly cheers on her children during soccer, basketball, gymnastics and Tae Kwon Do competitions. This award was modeled after the famed Sportsman and SportsKid of the Year awards.

SI Kids will feature both of the winners and a sports-filled “Gotta Get it Gift Guide” in their December 7th issue! The SI KidsGotta Get it Gift Guide” is online as well. This gift guide is filled with great ideas for your little sports fan.
