COPPERTONE CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen Review

We received these products free from BzzAgent to facilitate this review.

I received a 5 fl oz and three of the 1 fl oz COPPERTONE® CLEARLYSheer™ sunscreens for Sunny Days body lotion in broad spectrum SPF 30 as well as two of the 1.6 oz COPPERTONE® Sunscreen Continuous Spray Broad Spectrum SPF 50.

I love the containers they come in. The 5 fl oz one has a flip top lid and is ergonomic to easily fit in your hand. The mini ones are in a tube and have a screw top lid that seal well so no leakage occurs. The spray is in a aerosol container that has a safety locking feature on the lid so it cannot be sprayed while in a bag or in the hands of a child, just twist the lid top to clockwise to close and counter clockwise to open. The 5 fl oz is great for throwing in a large bag or keeping at home. The little 1 fl oz and 1.6 oz ones are great for throwing in your purse or pack and traveling with you and they comply with TSA travel size regulations.

These all have fragrance to them. I liked the COPPERTONE® CLEARLYSheer™ 30 SPF body lotion better than the spray because the fragrance of the spray ones were a little too perfume scented for me. The lotion had a mild tolerable scent that wasn't bad at all, but really I could have lived without the scent altogether.

These all protect your skin well from the sun and have good coverage. Since the COPPERTONE® Sunscreen Continuous Spray is 50 SPF it has the most protection from the most damaging UVA/UVB rays. The COPPERTONE® CLEARLYSheer™ 30 SPF lotion protects good too and if you like something more mild to your skin this is a better choice in my opinion. The 30 SPF is gentle on the skin and won't cause breakouts or clog pores. It also isn't oily on application and absorbs quickly. The spray goes on wet, but dries fast and has a fast and even coverage. These are all water resistant for 80 minutes, then reapplication needs to occur. Also they need reapplying after: sweating, 2 hours go by, or immediately after towel drying. I tried these at the beach and outside while I was in the sun gardening. I didn't burn or break out, so I was very happy with the outcome.

The Lego Movie Blu-Ray Giveaway And Awesome Blog App

I have the opportunity to give away a The Lego Movie Blu-Ray below free for posting this information. All information and giveaway prizes are provided by PartnersHub.

The instant family classic, The Lego Movie arrives on Blu-ray June 17th!

The LEGO® Movie, the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO® adventure, directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller is an original 3D computer animated story that follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

Chris Pratt (Moneyball) stars as the voice of Emmet. Will Ferrell (The Campaign) stars as the voice of his primary adversary, President Business, an erudite, anal-retentive CEO who has a hard time balancing world domination with micro-managing his own life; while Liam Neeson (Taken) voices the president's powerful henchman, known as Bad Cop, who will stop at nothing to catch Emmet.

Starring as Emmet's fellow travelers are Oscar® winner Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby), as Vitruvius, an old mystic; Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games, Emmy nominee for 30 Rock), as tough-as-nails Lucy, who mistakes Emmet for the savior of the world and guides him on his quest; Will Arnett (Emmy nominee, 30 Rock), as the mysterious Batman, a LEGO minifigure with whom Lucy shares a history; Nick Offerman (NBC's Parks and Recreation) as a craggy, swaggering pirate, obsessed with revenge on President Business; and Alison Brie (Community) as a sweet, loveable member of the team, with a powerful secret.

Mutineers by David Gray CD Review

We received a free download of this album from One2One Network to facilitate this review. Affiliate links may be in this post. Thank you for supporting this blog.

David Gray is a British singer-songwriter that brought us the popular song that was played on the radio, "Babylon". Maybe you heard it? Anyway, his newest album is called Mutineers and it is released to the public on June 17. This album is Gray’s tenth studio album and his first in four years. He wanted to do something he's never done, something truly unique to his previous works.

I was lucky enough to get an advance copy of the album for free to review here. Unfortunately I didn't get the lyrics to these songs or a CD insert because it was a downloaded album. Some of the songs were a bit hard to make out the words to and since they are so new most don't have them typed up online to find either.

I really like his lyrical style. It is very down to Earth, poetic, and truthful. The words speak from the heart and have some profound meanings. David Gray sorta reminds me of a mix of Billy Joel and Elton John...probably because of the use of piano/keyboard in a lot of his pieces. David Gray has unique voice that is both rough and pleasant.

Here are some of my thoughts on my favorite tracks...

The first of the songs on the album is called "Back in The World" This song is really upbeat and joyful as it should be because the lyrics paint a picture of someone who was down on their luck, but everything is turning around and changing in a wonderful way. Very catchy and infectious tune also.

The third song and title of the album, "Mutineers", starts out with only piano, guitar and percussion and then unfolds from there. The main melody is played over and over in this piece, but is expanded upon. It grows exponentially at the end and has not only voice as well, but harmonica and techno/synth sounds.

"Beautiful Agony" reminds me of a Beatles piece. It has a familiar greatness to it and I could hear John Lennon singing this one as well.

I love the song "Last Summer" because of the strings in it. I am a sucker for a pretty string part and this one has a hauntingly gorgeous one tacked onto the end of it.

"Snow in Vegas" is a love song. I love the lyrics to this one...esp. about the million buck champagne, LOL! Even though I don't drink alcohol I still thought that lyric was funny. It made me laugh.

To me the "Birds of the High Arctic" is a sad song about breaking up and making mistakes. It is a very melancholy piece. You can here the birds calling out at the beginning and end if you listen closely.

"Gulls" has haunting piano and vocals. "This land belongs to the Gulls and the Gulls to the cry and the cry to the wind."

Mutineers Track Listing:
