COPPERTONE CLEARLYSheer Sunscreen Review
We received these products free from BzzAgent to facilitate this review.
I received a 5 fl oz and three of the 1 fl oz COPPERTONE® CLEARLYSheer™ sunscreens for Sunny Days body lotion in broad spectrum SPF 30 as well as two of the 1.6 oz COPPERTONE® Sunscreen Continuous Spray Broad Spectrum SPF 50.
I love the containers they come in. The 5 fl oz one has a flip top lid and is ergonomic to easily fit in your hand. The mini ones are in a tube and have a screw top lid that seal well so no leakage occurs. The spray is in a aerosol container that has a safety locking feature on the lid so it cannot be sprayed while in a bag or in the hands of a child, just twist the lid top to clockwise to close and counter clockwise to open. The 5 fl oz is great for throwing in a large bag or keeping at home. The little 1 fl oz and 1.6 oz ones are great for throwing in your purse or pack and traveling with you and they comply with TSA travel size regulations.
These all have fragrance to them. I liked the COPPERTONE® CLEARLYSheer™ 30 SPF body lotion better than the spray because the fragrance of the spray ones were a little too perfume scented for me. The lotion had a mild tolerable scent that wasn't bad at all, but really I could have lived without the scent altogether.
These all protect your skin well from the sun and have good coverage. Since the COPPERTONE® Sunscreen Continuous Spray is 50 SPF it has the most protection from the most damaging UVA/UVB rays. The COPPERTONE® CLEARLYSheer™ 30 SPF lotion protects good too and if you like something more mild to your skin this is a better choice in my opinion. The 30 SPF is gentle on the skin and won't cause breakouts or clog pores. It also isn't oily on application and absorbs quickly. The spray goes on wet, but dries fast and has a fast and even coverage. These are all water resistant for 80 minutes, then reapplication needs to occur. Also they need reapplying after: sweating, 2 hours go by, or immediately after towel drying. I tried these at the beach and outside while I was in the sun gardening. I didn't burn or break out, so I was very happy with the outcome.
DISCLOSURE/DISCLAIMER: Because I am a member of BzzAgent I received word of a BzzCampaign for the COPPERTONE CLEARLYSheer products. I received these products free to facilitate my review. All information about the products I received from the media kit, the products and the COPPERTONE website. My thoughts are mine and my family's own opinion and have not been altered by anyone else. I did not receive any other compensation for doing this review.

Welmedix SunBurnt and FirstDegree Sunburn and Burn Remedies for Summer Review
I received these products for free to facilitate this review.
The summer season means lots of family fun with: BBQ’s, fireworks, going to the beach, vacations, outdoor sports, outdoor activities and more time at home with family and friends. With all of the festivities, little ouches also come with the territory, such as cuts, scrapes, sunburns and the common household burn. We all should know that we need to wear sunscreen before going outside, especially in the hot summer days. Sometimes though we forget or the day doesn't go as planned. If you've ever gotten a bad sunburn you know that it doesn't feel very good. It hurts and you really need something to sooth the skin and make it feel better.
Welmedix has made two homeopathic products: SunBurnt after sun gel and FirstDegree burn cream that are great for sunburns and minor burns. These products are great for use this summer and throughout the year. These are essential for families to have in their first aid kits at home and on the go. I am so glad to have them in my first aid kit so that I can treat my family's minor burns that can occur and make sure my family is well taken care of. I certainly like to be prepared.
SunBurnt is an after sun gel that is great first aid for sun burns. It temporarily relieves symptoms of mild to moderate sunburn. Great for burning, redness, stinging, rawness, itching, dryness left after a sunburn. It helps reduce skin peeling, soothes and hydrates skin and cools overheated skin. It has Aloe, Calendula, Echinacea and other ingredients to help burns, sunburns, skin itching, burning, and dryness. It goes on as a clear gel and is Lidocaine free.
FirstDegree is a burn cream that is great first aid for minor burns. It aids in the healing of minor epidermal burns and temporarily relieves associated symptoms like: rawness, itching, minor infection. It has Aloe, Calendula, Echinacea and other ingredients to help wound healing, reduce the appearance of scars, soothes pain, cools the burn and/or scald, and antiseptic to prevent infection. Great for burns from stovetop/oven, grill, curling iron, clothing iron, tools/auto. It goes on as a cream and has Shea Butter in it to make it creamier. A portion of the proceeds from buying this product go to providing care to victims of critical burns.

Real Kids Shades Eye Protection For Kids Review and Giveaway
Everyone knows that the sun can damage the skin and most parents know to whip out the sun screen to lather on their family before they go outside as a protection from harmful UV rays. But did you know that UV rays from the sun can cause permanent damage to the eyes. Eyes can not repair themselves like the skin can and the damage can build up over time. UV rays can also still do damage anytime of the year and even on overcast and cloudy days. This is why it is so important to protect not only your whole family's skin, but also their eyes when they are outside.
Real Kids Shades is a great company that promotes sun eye protection for kids. They sell a wide variety of stylish sun glasses with super sun protection for babies, toddlers, and kids up to age 12. These sunglasses have a number of wonderful features which make them even more desired for a parent to purchase for their kids:
Jaedan received the Xtreme Gear Convertible for 7 - 12 Years in Silver to try out. The Xtreme Gear Convertible for 7 - 12 Years came in a reusable zippered case with foam padding inside. They have a small button on each side where you can slide the temples (arms/sides that are placed over the ears) off and replace them with bands that snap into place and can be adjusted. Before putting them back in the case you have to put the temples back on or they will not fit. Also, even with proper adjusting my son had problems with the lenses fogging up. I am not sure what to really do for this issue. Otherwise he really liked them and thought they looked cool on him.
WIN IT
Prize: Win one pair of Real Kids Shades - winners choice (style, size and color).
I am trying out Rafflecopter on my blog. Please click on this post link if you do not see the script for it below. Also, if there is anything that is wrong with it let me know by emailing me: finamoon AT gmail DOT com I will try my best at fixing it. Thanks for being awesome readers!

Eucerin Everyday Protection Lotion Review
I received a 4 fl oz bottle of the Eucerin Everyday Protection Lotion for face with a SPF of 30 and a 13.5 fl oz bottle of the Eucerin Everyday Protection Lotion for body with a SPF of 15 for free from Eucerin to try out and review.
It is so important to take care of your skin. The need for skincare products that nourish and protect our skin so that our skin stays youthful looking and healthy is ever growing with the impact of UV radiation from the sun's rays. Recommended by The Skin Cancer Foundation, Eucerin Everyday Protection Lotion is a wonderful product that helps protect the skin from this harmful exposure. It's ingredients of micro-fine zinc oxide and titanium dioxide provide blockage against UV causing skin damage. They are enriched with Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, to help protect from free radicals damaging the skin cells. It is fragrance-free, oil-free, non-irritating and won't clog pores.
I love these products! I only wish that the SPF were higher on both. I applied the face lotion on my face and was very happy with the feel. I did the same with the body lotion and applied it to exposed skin except for my face. Both were a little oily, but overall they went on smooth and felt good on my skin. As soon as I applied the lotions my skin felt very moisturized and it is proven to relieve dry skin for 24 hours. My skin felt healthier with these products on and I felt better knowing that my skin was being protected. My son, Jaedan, has such sensitive skin that I wanted to try these out on him also. He didn't have any break outs or skin irritations with these products.
The more sunburns as a child the higher the risk of getting skin cancer. That is why I feel it is so important to protect my kids from the damaging effects of the sun! You should apply sunscreens with at least 15 SPF and encourage your child to wear hats with brims and coverage. Some hats I have seen are also made out of UV protectant material which is a plus. Sunglasses that provide protection from UV radiation are also recommended, even for the very young child. Although many children may want to play outdoors wearing little clothing in the hot summer time, we as parents should encourage our children to keep as much skin area covered by clothing as possible. These guidelines are not only great for our kids, but we need to also take them into account for ourselves so that our skin can stay healthy and youthful.
