Wordless Wednesday Zari Won a Gymnastics Medal!

Zari was awarded a gymnastics medal for reaching the top of the climbing rope.

Tatutina Review and Giveaway

Positive recognition is wonderful for helping kids' self esteem. Each medal is made of painted wood with a ribbon that has velcro closure at the top for easy on and off. These medals come in various designs...such as: cutie pie, dinosaur expert, bug catcher, birthday girl, birthday boy, new big brother, new big sister, funniest kid, good citizen, little dancer, top chef, singing star, biggest ham and more! The back of the medal can be personalized with the child's name. They are just $5 each!

The mermaid sweater is adorable! I love the bright colors and Tatutina has other mermaid items that coordinate with it. When they designed this sweater and put it into production, they worked with an American company that helps support local Peruvian women in their efforts to sustain a living and provide for their families. This 100% cotton sweater comes in 3 different sizes for babies and toddlers. They also have other designs too and now on sale for $40!

Blog Awards

I have just been awarded two awards from my friends. I was awarded the Friends Award by gahome2mom @ Loving Heart Designs and the Sisterhood Award by EllyBean @ Connected2Christ on Monday, March 23, 2009. I want them to know how thankful I am to have friends like them!

Gahome2mom is a homeschooling mom of 5 girls. She also has 2 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and a Chocolate Labrador Retriever puppy dog named Charley.

EllyBean was my good friend even before we were bloggers :) We met online when we were younger because we both loved this series of chapter books named 'Animorphs'. We would role play the characters together and sometimes make up our own. She is actually one of gahome2mom's daughters. She now has a beautiful baby girl that is about my Teela's age and lives only about an hour and a half away from me. She is also very talented and has an Etsy and a Zazzle store.
