First Ultrasound Pictures and Gender??

On May 5th, 2010 before my long road trip with my family I got these ultrasound pictures taken of my new baby from the ultrasound technician. The first picture is of the baby's face. Such big beautiful eyes! The second one is of the baby's hand and arm. I can't wait for the baby's hand to wrap around my finger! The baby was being shy then and so didn't show its gender. I got to also see and hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time and it was wonderful!

Today, July 5th 2010, I went to another OBGYN appointment and this time the doctor did the ultrasound. He looked and said the baby was cooperating this time, but said he didn't want to guarantee the gender because he isn't an ultrasound technician. I wish he printed pictures of his possible findings, but he didn't. He did say that he was pretty sure that he didn't see any boy parts and so he thinks I am having a GIRL!! I am excited! I hope he is right, but either way I will be happy :)

Pregnant

I am pregnant in my 3rd trimester now. The new baby is due April 9th, 2008. I am excited to have another baby...possibly another girl from what the ultrasound tech said. If the baby is a girl she will even out the score a bit :o) I am having a great pregnancy so far, with just a little nausea my first and second trimesters. I am having a few leg cramps now that I am in my 3rd trimester, but this is normal for me. I hope to have a normal, healthy, and safe labor with out having to have an epidural. I have been using Cocoa butter lotion on my belly so that it will minimize stretch marks and doing prenatal yoga for exercise. I have gained roughly 25 pounds so far. My family is excited too!
