My kids and I have had the great opportunity to review many titles from Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!
and so when we were asked to watch and review their Best of Walden DVD
we didn't pass it up. We love Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! Wubbzy! It is so cute.
This DVD was different from the others we have gotten to review. It was
all about Wubbzy's pal Walden. Walden knows all about science, books and art. Walden is very busy in these 7 episodes. Walden bakes a marshmallow lasagna for Wubbzy in “Perfecto Party,” plays his “hoopty horn” in “Goo Goo Grief,” and collects figgety-fig leaves with his best pals in “The Last Leaf!” I
love what this DVD teaches.
Perfecto Party teaches:
all you really need for a perfecto party are friends
friends do nice things for each other
to make the best with what you've got
Mr. Cool teaches:
to not try to change your friends
to not be who you're not
to be yourself and you'll be cool
Walden on the Beach teaches:
don't try to hide your fears from your friends, if they are true friends they will help you over come them and understand
go one step at a time
take small steps when you try something new
you don't have to be scared
be prepared
take your time
start small
Woozy Walden teaches:
listen to your friends and help them with what they actually need not what you think they need
just because you don't know about something you shouldn't be scared of it
Goo Goo Grief teaches:
home is where the heart is
follow your heart
if you are lost try to find someone to help you
home is home sweet home
The Last Leaf teaches:
safety first (life jackets while boating)
take it slow
good things always come to those who wait

and so when we were asked to watch and review their Best of Widget! DVD we didn't pass it up. We love Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! Wubbzy is so cute.
This DVD was different from the others we have gotten to review. It was all about Wubbzy's pal Widget. Widget is the busiest builder and fix-it expert in Wuzzleberg. Widget is very busy in these 7 episodes. She modifies a road racer for the Wuzzleberg Derby, tries to become a ballerina, invents a solar-powered super-robot, bulids the ultimate television, searches for her missing wiggle wrench and more! We see machines, workshop marvels and it is all with the Wuzzleberg crew. I love what this DVD teaches.
Widget's Wild Ride teaches:
safety first (they always wore helmets and seat belts at the Road Racer Rally)
don't go too overboard or things might go wrong
spending time with friends is better than winning
Gotta Dance teaches:
just be yourself
practice makes perfect
Gidget Super Robot teaches:
robots and other things can't replace real friends
when you need your friends they will be there for you
Eggs Over Easy teaches:
making things easier doesn't always make it more fun
have more patience
do things yourself so that you can learn from it

General Mills has teamed up with Nickelodeon's The Penguins of Madagascar to bring the action-packed adventures to your very own breakfast table. Inside specially marked boxes of General Mills cereals, you'll initiate operations with one of five characters from The Penguins of Madagascar; Skipper, Rico, Kowalski, Private or King Julien. Each participating cereal contains one character launcher with mission details outlined on the back of the box including:
* Dive In, Soldier - Set an empty plastic cereal bowl on the table and try to send your launcher into it.
* Longest Propulsion Launcher - Challenge your troops to see who can propel their character the farthest.
* Target Practice - Create a landing zone with a spoon and try to strategically drop your character into the target.
* Clear the Wall - Can you catapult your launcher over the top of the box? Earn those wings!
The characters are all unique and have their own specific functions and when they are brought together they're a team with lots of character. You can collect all 5 character launchers and try to successfully complete all of their missions.
The Penguins of Madagascar Operation: DVD Premier is really fun. My family enjoyed watching it. This DVD is an episode compilation of a Nick television series. Each episode is about 20 minutes long. They focus on the Penguins, their spy missions, and some of their interesting...and sometimes annoying neighbors/nemesis.

My children adore Nick Jr.'s "Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!". Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! helps teach preschoolers all kinds of social skills, including sharing, listening, compromising, helping and appreciating others, self-awareness and the use of humor as a coping skill. The Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! characters have to learn how they fit into the group, how to understand their own feelings and those of others, and how to get along with one another. Young viewers learn the value of friendship and community as they have fun watching Wubbzy and his friends tackle these issues in each new adventure. I was asked to review the Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! Wubb Idol DVD and the Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! Sing a Song CD. I received them for free to review from Grand Communications, Inc.. They are both wonderful and if you know the show at all you know they are filled with great advice, morals and messages. I love the songs in both DVD and CD. My daughter, Teela, was dancing to one of the songs on the CD and was singing, "wow, wow"...It was very cute!

I loved how this DVD teaches kids good things like: to be yourself, don't be a copycat, don't act like something your not, your super special just the way you are, everyone has a talent unique to them, do what you do best, don't give up, have no fear, you'll never know how much fun you'll have if you don't take a chance, make some time for fun and your friends will be there when you need them. These are all great messages! It also has some bonus features which include some activities and coloring pages, music videos and sneak peeks.
The Sing a Song CD has the Wubb Girlz song on it along with 27 other songs from different Wubbzy shows and DVDs. Each song also has awesome uplifting messages for kids. My kids love listening to it and so do I! Take a listen to the music samples on Amazon.
